Police and voluntary youth service officers exchange ideas

Sham Shui Po District and the Social Welfare Department held an 'exchange' seminar earlier at which 60-odd volunteer group social workers met with Force members to share ideas on the prevention of youth crime and the enhancement of counselling service for problem youths.

Sham Shui Po District Commander, Acting Chief Superintendent, Mr Tse Ho-yin, and the District's Police Community Relations Officer Acting Chief Inspector, Mr Wu Ho-lin, and several senior officers met with the volunteers at what was subsequently described as a most successful platform for the exchange of ideas, information and encouragement.
