Assistant Commissioner (Crime) Mr Lo Yik-kee recently held a meeting with representatives of the Hong Kong Security Association and the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies in late November. Mr Lo thanked the industries for their co-operative contribution to the safety and security of people and property for which they were responsible through enhancing security awareness among their patrol staff, the timely and effective maintenance of security installations and reporting suspected criminal activities to the Police.

"Effective co-operation between the Force and the private security sector has definitely contributed to a reduction in crime and we look forward to their continued support in keeping Hong Kong a safe and secure city," Mr Lo concluded.
