Hiking: The 21st Trailwalker, organised by Oxfam Hong Kong, was held on November 8, 9 and 10. This charity-supporting event is the largest of its kind and has been getting more and more popular in recent years. Participants compete in teams of four, and are required to finish the whole 100 km McLehose Trail within 48 hours.

Among a large number of Force teams, the Police Athletics Club 'Fitness Angel' performed very well this year and crossed the finish line as the first police team followed by 'Tai Hing' (24 hours 24 minutes) and Little Foot (28 hours 32 minutes ). The "Fitness Angel' Team, formed by Woman Senior Inspectors, Ms Carol Cheng Mei-lin, and Ms Tom Tsang Chiu-tong, and Woman Police Constables, Ms Sean Ho Kit-ying, and Ms Agnes Cheung Ngar-sze, finished the race in 21 hours and 28 minutes. The 'Angels' were ranked third in both the Women's Open and Government Categories.

Lawn Bowls: The Police Officers Club Lawn Bowls Green was scene of a closely fought battle between Wong Tai Sin District and Airport District for the Wallis Trophy. Wong Tai Sin won. In the play-off for third place, Police Training School beat Traffic.

Watersports: For the second year running, the Police Adventure Club was Overall Champion in two Corporate Games events held in early November.

In five Canoeing events they won two Golds (two in the Women's Individual - Woman Police Constable Ms Pong Ho-yan), plus two Silvers (one for the Men's Individual - Senior Police Constable Mr Chau Kim-fai, and one for the Relay Team - Chief Inspector Mr Li Hong-man, and Police Constables, Mr Yeung Yeung-chau, Mr Leung Yiu-hung, and Mr Lo Kai-chung).

In five Indoor Rowing events they won three Golds (from the Men's and Ladies Relay Teams) and two Silvers (one in the Women's Individual - Woman Police Constable Ms Yiu Cheung-man and one in the Men's Individual - Police Constable Mr Yam Chi-wai).
