Financial Secretary visits Marine Police
The Financial Secretary, Mr Antony Leung, paid a familiarisation visit to Marine Police Headquarters on February 15. He was welcomed by Marine Regional Commander Mr Cheung Chi-shum.
After a briefing by Senior Superintendent Mr Alasdair Watson on the Marine Police role and organisation, he visited the Regional Command & Control Centre and was briefed on the digital Communications System and various navigational aids before meeting with a cross-section of the staff.
He was then given a demonstration by the high-speed interceptors of the Anti-Smuggling Task Force, before concluding with a tour of the latest Keka Class Patrol launch.
