Force pop musicians help raise funds for kidney patients |
||
The Police Pop Music Club (PPMC) took part in a charity performance held by the Hong Kong Kidney Foundation at Government house on Valentine's Day. PPMC was invited to take part by HKKF Vice Chairman Mr Jim Elms, a former Senior Superintendent in the Force. The function raised $300,000 to aid local patients suffering from kidney diseases. For PPMC it was a 'first' appearance at such a prestigious venue and players on the night felt enormously privileged to be able to represent the Force in such a good cause.
