The management of China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (CSCES), working on the Disneyland site at Penny's Bay, recently visited the LTDIST and Lantau North Division and presented silver plates and commemorative flags to District Commander Mr Cheung Kwun-wah, and several other senior officers, in praise of their outstanding performance.

In particular, the officers were praised for crowd management at the Disneyland ground-breaking ceremony on January 12 that was attended by VIPs from all around the world.

A CSCES spokesman said that: "Good planning and close contacts with the management of the security company for the site contributed significantly to the success of the ceremony. Furthermore," he observed, "District Investigation Team officers had taken pre-emptive enforcement action against criminal elements seeking opportunities to commit crimes at the site."

In conclusion, the management expressed their gratitude to all officers concerned and pledged to continue supporting the Police in fighting crime and helping to make Lautau District a safe and peaceful community.
