In view of the outbreak of SARS and a related dearth of blood donors, officers of Sha Tin District, led by District Commander Mr John Bicknell, showed their support for the community by giving blood at Sha Tin Police Station on May 6. An encouraging total of 57 police and civilian officers took part in the blood donation exercise.
