Thank you for helping my father

A Kwun Tong resident recently wrote to Marine Port District Commander Mr Kenneth Davey to commend two officers from Police Launch 56 for their assistance rendered to his 70-year-old father who had taken ill while on a family visit to Po Toi Island.

The officers were Station Sergeant Mr Yu Kwok-kin and Senior Police Constable Mr Lee Kam-wa who, despite having to handle another nearby and more serious emergency, took time to check his health, comfort him, and eventually take him to base and a waiting ambulance.

"Because of the thoroughly professional and considerate action of officers obviously dedicated to saving life and property, my father received prompt treatment and is on his way to complete recovery," said the resident.
