Mr Tsang was briefed on the medical condition of the trio. The officers were responding well to treatment.

The Commissioner said that, whatever problems an individual has to face in these difficult times, violence is no solution. "Those who resort to violence under any pretext will have to face the full rigours of the law," he pledged.
