During the visit, they toured the Airport Police Control Room and the tactical training facility. The visitors also saw demonstrations by the Airport Security Unit on the tactical use of firearms and resistance control. Before departure, Council members went to the Passenger Terminal to view the District Traffic Team and uniformed officers performing duties at different parts of the Terminal.

Accompanying the visitors were Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Mr Wong Doon-yee, Airport District Commander Mr Chau Kwok-leung, and Complaints & Internal Investigations Branch (C&IIB) Chief Superintendent Ms Debbie Chang. The visit was organised by the C&IIB as part of a programme to further enhance IPCC members' understanding of frontline policing.
