Deeply grieved by Mr Slough's death, Police Public Relations Branch Chief Superintendent Mr William Tang How-kong, who is also the Chairman of the OffBeat Editorial Board, said: "Mr Slough, an experienced journalist, has produced many interesting stories for OffBeat. We are all very sorry to hear about his death."

The funeral service was held at St John's Cathedral on September 19.
