A busy day for the Force
Frontline officers were at full stretch on National Day, ensuring that celebration events went on smoothly.
Their busy day began early in the morning with a flag-raising ceremony, parades and performances by the disciplined services before a large crowd of local residents and tourists from the Mainland and other countries at the Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai.
In the evening, they closed roads, diverted traffic and manned favoured viewing points on both sides of the harbour for the National Day Fireworks Display.
Elsewhere in the territory, frontline officers were also busy at other tourist spots as the National Day Golden Week began.
