Fight Crime Ambassadors spread messages |

Over 120 students aged between 11 and 15 in Yuen Long are spreading fight crime and anti-drug messages to their families, schoolmates and friends as the Force's Fight Crime Ambassadors. Their teachers are also assisting the students in their mission by providing counselling services and follow-up work. Last summer holidays, the Fight Crime Ambassadors attended a series of workshops, which were jointly organised by the Yuen Long District and Yuen Long Office of Social Welfare Department to equip the students with the skills of their anti-crime mission. The Yuen Long District Fight Crime Committee had sponsored the workshops, while 11 non-governmental organisations had offered their assistance. At the workshops, the students were taught how to stay away from drugs and triad elements, and to steer a straight path. They had also attended fight crime and anti-drug seminars, case studies, theme reviews, role-playing and sharing of working experience with 50 police volunteers.
