Invited by the Bureau, Ms Angela Chan, who has been in the shipping industry for over 25 years and has profound experience in container transport, shared her knowledge with the participants coming from various Crime Wing units.

The consensus of the participants was that the seminar had met the objectives of enhancing their knowledge on the subject, thus enabling them to conduct investigation more easily when cargo shipment was involved.

They also found the seminar useful in strengthening the co-operation between the Force and shipping companies and in facilitating police investigation into syndicates using cargo containers for illegal activities.
