Kowloon East Region holds sports day
The Kowloon East Regional Sports Day was successfully held at the Police & Recreation Club on October 31.
Participants from the three major units and five minor units in the Region competed in various sports, including seven-a-side soccer, badminton, table tennis, tennis, squash, lawn bowls, ten-pin bowling, tug-of-war and a fun sport relay.
Following keen contests, Wong Tai Sin District and Kowloon East Emergency Unit won the Major and Minor Unit Trophies respectively. Traffic Kowloon East won the Trophy for 'Cheer Group'.
The Kowloon East Regional Commander, Mr Mak Man-poon, while presenting prizes to the winners, appealed to his officers to spare some time daily for physical training so as to keep fit and to meet new challenges.
