Since October 1, 2003, the new crystal Force Retirement Souvenir has been given out to eligible officers attending presentation ceremony arranged by a Major Formation or Formation.

With immediate effect, an officer who is eligible for the new souvenir but has not received it because of the following reasons can apply to redeem it on or before August 31, 2004.

*Having attended presentation ceremony arranged by Major Formation or Formation before October 1, 2003 but having only received the old retirement souvenir;

*For any reason not having attended presentation ceremony arranged by Major Formation or Formation before October 1, 2003 and not having received any retirement souvenir, or having only redeemed the old (wooden plaque) retirement souvenir thereafter.

Eligible officer who has not received the new souvenir because of failing to attend the presentation ceremony held after October 1, 2003 should approach his or her Major Formation or Formation Commander to claim the new souvenir.
