The scholarship is valued at approximately HK$66,000 this year which covers round-trip international and local travel, school fees, orientation and medical costs. The student on the AFS exchange programme will live with a host family and attend a local school in the foreign country for one full academic year.

The basic requirements of the student are as follows:

(1) Age between 15 and 19 years on the date of departure;

(2) Transcripts must prove academic motivation, and

(3) Students who are curious about the world, have the capacity to learn and are eager for the challenges of living in a new culture.

How to Apply

Applications should be made on the standard application form at Appendix A of the circular. Completed forms should be returned to Chief Superintendent of Police Personnel Services (Attn: Executive Officer, Personnel Services 2),1st Floor, Dominion Centre,43-59 Queen's Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
