Mr Tang has left for the UK to attend a course at the Royal College of Defence Studies.

Mr Ma, whose immediate past posting was Sau Mau Ping District Commander, has vowed to maintain the very good relations that the Force has forged with the media, and the public image that the Force has built up.

"It is a privilege and challenge for me to head the Police Public Relations Branch. The Force has over the years tried its best to keep the community and the media well informed of developments in law enforcement and other aspects of police work. This will be one of my priority jobs. With the help and co-operation of the media, I also hope to further enhance communications with members of the public!" said Mr Ma.
