Selected Police forms available through POINT

Over 300 Police (POL) forms have been cancelled as obsolete, and 166 other forms have been identified as suitable to be made available through POINT, following a comprehensive review and consultation with Major Formation Commanders.

The first batch of 15 forms has been made available in MS Word Format in a new "POL Forms" site under "P" on the POINT "Index". The remaining forms will be placed on the site in batches before the end of the current financial year.

As Chief Inspector Steve So of Service Quality Wing has explained, forms with a particular high consumption, such as the POL 154 and POL 155, will continue to be available from Police Stores and through POINT. Mr So said the initiative would save printing and storage costs, as well as making better use of IT.
