Hong Kong improves in hardship survey |

Hong Kong has jumped 11 places to No. 33 in a hardship survey of 130 world cities conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit. According to the survey, the upgrade has stemmed from improvements in many social aspects. Hong Kong has scored top marks for safety from crime or terrorism, transport and housing, utility networks, and availability of consumer goods. In the survey, Hong Kong tied with six other cities - Atlanta, Barcelona, Chicago, Luxembourg, Miami and Lexington.
