Following a comprehensive review of 1,000 plus POL forms last May and consultation with Major Formation Commanders, over 300 POL forms have been cancelled as obsolete and more than 100 have been identified as suitable to be made available electronically through POINT. This initiative would save printing and storage costs, as well as making better use of IT.
