Representatives from several community organisations attended the Division's presentation of DVC Complimentary Certificate and 1st Clasp of Police Long Service Medal, and presented banners and silver plates to the Division in recognition of its efforts in maintaining law and order.

Eastern District Commander Mrs Choi Wong Fung-yee, Deputy District Commander Michael Demaid-Groves and Chai Wan Divisional Commander Tang Ping-keung presented the certificates and clasps to some 30 officers.

Chai Wan Division hopes that the presentation would help boosting staff morale and camaraderie, and enhancing police and public communication and co-operation.

Meanwhile, the Division is also implementing a series of initiatives to further enhance internal communication, including a Courtesy Officer Election, Welcome Package, and Outstanding Officer Award.

Last month, the public elected Woman Police Constable Lam Suet-ping of Report Room Team 4 as the Courtesy Officer of Chai Wan Division.
