The re-union gathering was blessed by the presence of the Course Director, retired Chief Superintendent Chris Glover who had come all the way from Sydney, Australia, for this occasion.

Senior Superintendent Chiu E Ping was eager to prove he is as fit as ever by staging an impromptu show of hand-standing, repeating the feat he performed in front of the then Commissioner Brian Slevin in the Officer's Mess at Police Training School on a passing-out parade in July 1977.
