Artist honoured
Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Wong Doon-yee presented on December 8 a souvenir to Mr Yim Yi-king (also known as Ah Chung), a famous local artist, for sketching the front cover design of the latest issue of the Complaints Prevention Committee Bulletin. Ah Chung's works are renowned for the lively expression of what he sees in life.
In discussing complaints prevention with staff of Complaints and Internal Investigations Branch, Ah Chung noted that as human nature resents restrictions, and as police' role is maintaining law and order, occasional conflicts are understandable. What is most important are fostering mutual understanding, exercising restraint and remaining composed in the face of provocation.
