The Director of Manpower of Singapore Police Force, Mr Ng Boon-kay (Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police) and a member of his team, Mr Seah Chin-soon, paid a four-day visit to the Force last month.

They met with Personnel Wing officers and discussed a gamut of human resource issues that are prevalent in the police forces in Singapore and Hong Kong. They also paid a courtesy call on Hong Kong Island Regional Commander Tang Kam-moon to share experiences on topical policing issues, and visited Mongkok District to see how the Force tackles vice activities there.

During their visit, Mr Ng and Mr Seah were impressed with the modern facilities of the new police headquarters and the advanced technologies used in the Police Tactical Complex at Police Training School. Their visit has laid the foundation for the future Exchange Training Attachment Programme between the two Forces.
