News has been received that retired Superintendent John Godfrey Guy died at home in Lagoa, Portugal, on November 25. Cremation later took place at the Cemiterio de Ferreiras, Beja, Portugal. Mr Guy joined the Force in 1955 and retired in 1985. He is survived by his wife, Peggy, and two children, Christina and Charles.
