Auxie Commandant re-appointed
The Government has extended the service of Arthur Kwok Chi-shun as Commandant of the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force (HKAPF) for three years to September 9, 2008.
Mr Kwok first joined the HKAPF in June 1977, and was promoted to Commandant in January 2001.
A Government spokesman said on April 1 that Mr Kwok had led the HKAPF with distinction, adding that "he is an effective and popular commandant who has given stable leadership during a period when the HKAPF was reduced in size and the scope of its duties revised."
