Families now are faced with a fast-pacing life, materialism and a highly competitive society. A harmonious family is capable of providing each member with a sense of security, comfort, and continued support. It also fosters and perpetuates growth in all individual members. In order to promote family harmony, Kowloon West (KW) Region and KW Regional Welfare Office (RWO) are hosting a Family Life Education Program on May 2 at the Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club with a theme talk in the morning and a family boat trip in the afternoon. Monica Yau, Assistant Director of Heep Hong Society, will conduct the theme talk on "How to Promote Harmony in Family". Social workers of the Hong Kong Children & Youth Services have organised activities for children of different age groups. This family education day camp is open to Force members and their families.
