In a letter to the Commissioner, the Chief Executive of the Community Chest, Ms Cecilia Li, thanked the police volunteers for providing professional logistical support for the Chest's major events held in the 2004-05 campaign year. In particular, Ms Li singled out for a special mention a special group of officers headed by CIP Cliff Chow of Traffic Headquarters. |

The American Chinese returned to Hong Kong from the States immediately after being informed by PC Lui that his elderly father was found dead at home. With PC Lui's assistance, he completed all the necessary procedures and sorted out personal matters before returning to the States. He later wrote to Tsz Wan Shan Station to praise PC Lui for his professionalism and caring attitude, and declared that without PC Lui's help his father would not have been properly buried. |

The resident thanked the officers for arresting the armed thugs who had tied him and his wife up in their house, ransacked the premises for over half an hour and made off with property worth over $100,000. He said the officers displayed enthusiasm, courtesy and patience in protecting life and property. |

The visitor was impressed with the way WSGT Ki helped her after she had lost her wallet at the MTR Admiralty Station. When the visitor wondered how she could proceed to Tuen Mun to visit a friend, WSGT Ki offered $100 and suggested she could pay back by donating the money to charity. The visitor accepted the offer and later made a donation to the Tsunami Relief Fund on WSGT Ki's behalf. |

A resident |
The resident found his wallet and travel documents missing shortly after boarding a Kowloon-bound coach at LMCBCP. An hour later he got back the property at LMCBCP after being alerted on his cell phone by the officers. In a letter to LMCDIV, the resident praised the officers for going to great lengths to inform him by various means, including phone calls and fax messages, that his property had been found, displaying a great sense of responsibility and dedication to duties. |
