Kowloon West(KW) Regional Crime Prevention Office recently held a seminar at Harbour City Shopping Arcade, Tsim Sha Tsui, to raise the retail business' awareness of crime prevention. At the anti-crime and credit card fraud seminar, YTDIST Commander Kevin Woods briefed shop operators on the latest crime trends in the district and YTDIST Crime Prevention Unit offered advice on crime prevention measures. In addition, credit card experts from two leading banks also briefed the audience on the ways to identify forged credit cards. It was hoped that by raising the retail business' crime prevention awareness, crime in the district would be further reduced and a better business environment would be created to maintain Hong Kong's reputation as a shoppers' paradise.
