Symposium on canteen management
Officers from 48 Formations recently got some tips on how to manage police canteens in a professional way. During a Symposium on Police Canteen Management, they heard talks on different subjects given by speakers from organisations outside the Force.
Among the speakers were senior engineers from Town Gas who talked about the best practice of energy-saving in a police canteen, a Government Property Agency representative updated the audience on the development of open-tender of police canteens and advised on preparation of the tender documents, and the Dietitian-in-charge of the Ruttonjee Hospital talked about healthy diets.
