Boxing match in aid of Operation Breakthrough |

More support for Operation Breakthrough is on the way; this time the British Chamber of Commerce will organise a boxing match in aid of this volunteer project for the disadvantaged kids. The match, entitled The Henley Group "Boxing Smoker!", is scheduled to take place at the Hong Kong Football Club on October 8. By then the Police Boxing Club will field a team and Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai is expected to attend as a guest of honour. Force members are urged to support the fund-raising match. Individual tickets are priced at $725 each. Special tables will be set up next to the ring for groups of spectators. A "Gold Table" for 12 can be booked at $10,000 and a "Silver Table" for 12 at $8,400. Bookings of tickets and tables can be made by fax 2824-1333 before the deadline of Friday, September 16. | |||
