New DFCC members visit BORDIST
Border District Commander Michael Demaid-Groves recently briefed 16 newly appointed District Fight Crime Committee (DFCC) members of North District on his strategy in border policing, in particular action against illegal immigration.
During their visit to Border District (BORDIST), the DFCC members also toured some of the operational facilities at Ta Kwu Ling Division, and visited an electronic waste site to observe a joint operation between Police and Immigration Department against illegal workers there.
The visit was organised by BORDIST as part of a programme to further enhance the public's understanding of frontline policing.
