When he won the championship of the 5th Hong Kong Bowling Tour (Graded B) late last year, Airport Security Unit Senior Police Constable, Dobee Tsang Wing-tak, made a resolution: "I hope to represent Hong Kong in international bowling competitions!"

With more hard training and determination, SPC Tsang's dream has finally come true when he competed with overseas bowlers as a member of the Hong Kong contingent at the Final South Pacific Classic 2005, which was held in Australia from September 1 to 5.

SPC Tsang gained the honours to represent Hong Kong after clinching the championship of the "Graded" Category of the "Ebonite South Pacific Classic 2005 - Hong Kong Regional Selection Bowling Competition" which was held in Yan Oi Tong Bowling Centre last month.

SPC Tsang, along with other 31 bowlers, had fought his way to the selection competition, following an earlier three-day primary contest held in three different bowling centres. In the first stage of the selection, he beat the 31 opponents and ranked as one of the top four bowlers, scoring a total of 2,208 marks, an average of 221, in 10 games.

In the final stage, he defeated the other three top bowlers to win the championship, as well as the privilege to represent Hong Kong in Australia, alongside the champion of another category. This was SPC Tsang's second victory in recent months - he was the individual and team champion of this year's "Healthy Life Bowling Competition".
