The resident rushed to the territory after being informed by the police that her daughter had been admitted to Eastern Hospital with a drug overdose. The latter was out of danger and left hospital nine days later. In a letter to CWDIV, the resident said that what CWDIV had done, plus the help of medical staff, had given her daughter "a second life". In particular, she singled out the assistance given by the officers, and described the Force as a "noble and great" agency.

An 81-year-old man and his 74-year-old wife, accompanied by their daughter, were separated from each other while trying to board a crowded MTR train in Causeway Bay for Central. On seeing the man's anxiety and realising his problem, one of the officers immediately alerted his colleagues. Thanks to the officers' prompt actions, the couple was reunited five minutes later. In a letter to PPRB, the couple said there would have been serious consequences without the officers' prompt actions. They also praised their enthusiasm in serving the public.
