Get set for badminton contest

The Police Badminton Championships 2005 will start on November 7, with the finals scheduled for November 19. This annual competition is one of the recognised internal major sporting events. All serving regular and auxiliary officers, as well as their civilian counterparts, are eligible and most welcome. No entry fee is required.

This year's competition will comprise the following events:

(a) Men's Singles (In Age Group),

Open (18 years or above), Senior (30 years or above),

Veteran (37 years or above), Master (44 years or above) and Grandmaster (51 years or above);

(b) Men's Doubles (By Grade);

(c) Men's Doubles (Master - 44 years or above);

(d) Ladies' Singles;

(e) Ladies' Doubles, and

(f) Mixed Doubles.

Entry forms, which are available from PSRC and POC reception counters, should be returned before the deadline of October 31.
