SQW presents awards
At a ceremony held in the Senior Officers' Mess in Caine House on December 1, Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Wong Doon-yee presented Commanding Officer's Commendation, Police Long Service Medal & Clasps, Long and Meritorious Service Awards and Valedictory Letters to 37 disciplined and civilian officers in Service Quality Wing (SQW).
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Wong said the Commanding Officer's Commendation is in recognition of the recipients' continuous outstanding performance and devotion to duty throughout their service in SQW. Their dedication and strive for service excellence did contribute to the promotion and delivery of quality service both inside and outside the Force.
"No less deserving is the recipients of the Valedictory Letters, Police Long Service Medals and Clasps, and Long and Meritorious Service Awards. Not only they have served the Force and the Government for a prolonged period of time, but also they have shown sustained commitment and professionalism throughout their career. Their exemplary character and good conduct deserve formal recognition," he added.
