Force members honoured

 

At the 2006 Honours and Awards Ceremony at Government House on October 28, the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, presented serving and retired members of the Force with the Hong Kong Police Medal for Distinguished Service, Hong Kong Police Medal for Meritorious Service, Medal of Honour and Chief Executive's Commendation for Government Service.

Medals for Bravery (Gold) were awarded to three Police Constables - Tsang Kwok-hang (posthumously), Sin Ka-keung and Chu Chun-kwok. PC Tsang was killed in a gunfight at a Tsim Sha Tsui pedestrian underpass earlier this year, while PC Sin was injured in the incident. PC Chu was injured by a culprit while discharging his duties in Cheung Sha Wan last year.
