Force rowers make their mark again
Women Individual 2000M: Gold - Wu Wing-chiu, Silver -Yip Ka-yee and Bronze - Foo Yat-ting;
Men Individual 2000M: Silver, Bronze and 3rd runner-up;
Team Men 4x500M: Gold;
Team Women 4x500M: Silver; and
Team 30 Minutes relay - 4 men and 2 women: Gold
The Force has been participating in indoor rowing in the Corporate Games and winning the Overall Championship each year since 2001. In promoting this sport in the Force, PAC has trained 25 instructors who are recognised as qualified trainers by the Hong Kong Rowing Association. For future development, PAC would organise a rowing team in the real sense of the word. Those interested may call Paul Yeung at 2666-4686.
The Police Adventure Club (PAC) again dominated indoor rowing at the Corporate Games recently, clinching the Overall Championship for the fifth time and other medals. Ten male and four female PAC members came up with impressive performances in the following events:
