In the Hong Kong Annual Shooting Championships held at Tai Mo-shan Range recently, Sergeant Stephen Lee Siu-wah historically broke the record of 25M Centre Fire event with 578 points that marked 4 points more than Mr Wong Fai, the last record holder of this event in 2004.

"Focus on the front sight is the key, but more importantly, the hand-grip muscle memory to maintain a stable sight picture for a smooth trigger operation brings me to achieve 291 points in the 30-shot precision stage, which represents a top-three result in Asia and top-eight in the world," said Stephen, who also substained well in the dueling stage with 287 points.

"I am glad that my dry-drill training for muscle memory done at home every night proves to work well," said Stephen.

"It is almost impossible for an amateur shooter to achieve such a professional score," said Edgar Yang, Captain of Hong Kong ISSF/Olympic Shooting Team. "The upcoming challenge to Stephen is the Asia Shooting Championships at Kuwait by this year-end," said Edgar.
