HKI heavyweights square off!
About 700 participants packed the Police Sports and Recreation Club on the day to battle for supremacy in swimming, seven-a-side soccer, basketball, athletics, tug-of- war, table tennis, squash, tennis, tenpin bowling and fun game. The new Two-Generation Relay in swimming for officers and their children was introduced for the first time to promote family values, taking advantage of the Easter Holidays.
Western District and EU HKI took the trophies for the Major and Minor Unit Competitions respectively. Hong Kong Island Regional Commander Hung Hak-wai, along with other District Commanders, presented trophies to the winners.
The mighty teams of Western District and Emergency Unit Hong Kong Island (EU HKI) emerged as victors at this year's Hong Kong Island Sports Day on April 13.
