The Airport District took the gold medal of the bowling event on the Airport Disciplinary Services Sports Day 2007 (ADSSD) held at the Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC) on May 4. The overall championship title went to the Fire Services Department.

ADSSD is an annual sports event organised in turn by all the disciplinary departments working in the Airport District. It dated back to the Kai Tak era when the four disciplinary departments, namely Immigration Department, Customs & Excise Department, Fire Services Department and the Force, started meeting and sharing fun over various sports. After the airport moved to Chek Lap Kok, the Government Flying Services joined the event, bringing the total number of participating departments to five.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for cementing friendship through various games, including bowling, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, tug-of-war and a karaoke singing contest.

Following a very close competition, this year's event was rounded off with a Chinese dinner and a karaoke singing contest in PSRC.

Volleyball is one of the highlights of the sports day
