Assistant Commissioner (Crime) Wong Fook-chuen hosted the annual Crime Wing Liaison Gathering on May 25 at PHQ for liaison partners from the Mainland and the international law enforcement agencies based in Hong Kong, private sector and other government departments.

The function was an official reception to thank the guests for their continuing support to Crime Wing in combating transnational crime. It was organised by Liaison Bureau as part of the Force's efforts under the Three-year Strategic Action Plan 2005-2008 and the CP Operational Priorities 2007 to strengthen ties and communication with the Mainland and overseas law enforcement agencies.

Commissioner Tang King-shing and SDG officers also joined the 350 guests at the reception held alfresco for the first time on the third floor ceremonial area of PHQ. The police band played as the sun set with the magnificent Hong Kong skyline providing the backdrop.
