Force hosts lunch for Disciplined Services Directorate

The Force hosted the regular Disciplined Services Directorate Lunch for senior officers from the disciplined services at the Police Officers' Club on May 30.

Prior to lunch, 23 guests from four disciplined services visited the Police College accompanied by Commissioner Tang King-shing, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Fung Siu-yuen, Director of Personnel and Training Tang Hau-sing and the Director of Police College Tse Shu-chun.

During the visit they toured the Tactical Training Complex and attended a presentation on the simulated interactive multi-player simulation computer programme being developed by the Learning Technologies Division to enhance officers' analytical skills and command proficiency during major operations or civil emergencies.

Welcoming the guests at the lunch, Mr Tang stressed the importance of good communication and mutual co-operation among the disciplined services. On behalf of the other disciplined services and everyone present at the lunch, he expressed condolences to the Acting Director of Fire Services for the untimely passing of Fireman Wong Ka-hei whilst fighting fire in the QPL Industrial Building in Tsuen Wan on May 22, and wished the officers injured in the incident a speedy recovery.
