Andy Phillips takes squash title

Chief Inspector Andy Phillips emerged as the overall champion at the 2007 Police Squash Championships on May 25, beating Senior Inspector Simon Lau in the final with a relatively easy 3-0 win.

In other events, Police Constable (Auxiliary) Philip Ko defeated Police Constable Bill Chan by 3-0 to grab the Chairman's Cup.

For the first time in police squash history, the tournament saw the introduction of the Police Lady Championship. The title went to Executive Officer Cecilia Siu, who narrowly defeated Ms Yuen Shuk-ting by 3-2 in the final.

For the "Player of the Year Award", the title went to Kwai Tsing District Commander Kenny Ip, with the unanimous decision of the selection committee.
