CIS version 9.2 has been deployed in batches since mid-July 2007. This new version covers several key enhancements including Central Domestic Violence Database, preparing raids statistics in Sitrep Module, and other modifications to Detention, Property Administration, Bail and Charge Modules. In this issue, we introduce some enhanced functions of the Property Administration Module.

The first one introduced is a simplified version of 'Pol 69A Type Monthly/Yearly Statistics Report' that includes figures of 'New Cases', 'Disposed Cases' and 'Outstanding Cases'. The figures of the previous month will be generated at 09:00 hrs on the first day of each month.

Secondly, when receiving a number of properties of the same type with serial numbers in sequence, users can make use of a new 'Bulk Copy' function to improve operational efficiency. This function can generate property items with consecutive serial numbers of a maximum of 100 items each time.

Thirdly, a tailor-made function is available to facilitate submission of exhibit lists in Excel format to Courts. Users can add any item to an exhibit list by means of 'drag-and-drop' the item from 'Case Property List' to 'Exhibit for Court'. Removing an item can also be done in the opposite way.

Lastly, to indicate clearly the property matching result, the Property Matching Completion Bring Up Messages will show not only the result available but also whether it is 'POSITIVE' or 'NEGATIVE'. In addition, a new column 'Kept by' is also added to indicate the whereabouts of the property.
