Following the success of a visit to Central Police Station by members of Central and Western District Fight Crime Committee last year, the Central District (CDIST) Police Community Relations Office organised a similar visit to three Formations at Police Headquarters recently. During the second visit, the fight crime committee members were introduced to the security measures on display in the Exhibition Room of the Crime Prevention Bureau and the daily operations of the Regional Command and Control Centre of Hong Kong Island (RCCC HKI). They also visited the Commercial Crime Bureau, met Senior Superintendent (Fraud) Tsang Cheung-tat and heard a briefing on how to identify a counterfeit Hong Kong one thousand dollar banknote. At the end of the visit and on behalf of the Central and Western District Fight Crime Committee, the Chairman of the committee's Sub-committee on Crime Prevention and Publicity, Mr Billy Lam, presented souvenirs to Acting District Commander CDIST Mark Buxton and Mr Tsang in appreciation of police efforts in maintaining law and order.
