With effect from September 13, the New Territories North Regional Welfare Office and New Territories South Regional Welfare Office were merged and renamed as New Territories Welfare Office.

The merged welfare office is located on 9/F, Tsuen Wan Government Offices Building, No 38, Sai Lau Kwok Road, New Territories.

With effect from the same date, the Marine Regional Welfare Office also merged with the Headquarters and Hong Kong Island Regional Welfare Office in Arsenal House, Police Headquarters. The new office is known as the Hong Kong Island cum Marine Welfare Office.

The Kowloon East cum Kowloon West Regional Welfare Office in Cheung Sha Wan Government Office has been renamed as Kowloon Welfare Office.
