The Force further strengthened friendship and working relationship with the Guangdong Public Security and Macao Police in an annual sports exchange earlier this month.

The 8th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Police and Security Forces Sports Exchange held at Police Sports and Recreation Club saw three days of close and exciting competition in soccer, shooting, swimming, badminton and triathlon. Force athletes claimed the overall 1st runner-up place and the championship of the shooting event.

While athletes were engaged in "pitched battles", senior officials from the three law enforcement agencies and the Central People's Government Liaison Offices (CPGLO) renewed friendship with friendly matches. Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Yam Tat-wing played friendly table-tennis matches with senior officials of Guangdong, Macao and CPGLO, clinching the 2nd runner-up place of the Senior Officials' Table Tennis Matches.

Mr Yam teamed up with the Personal Secretary of the Staff Officer to CP, Ms Gina Wong Yuet-ling, in the matches, underscoring the constant co-operation between disciplined and civilian officers.
