Kwai Tsing District has teamed up with Kwai Tsing District Fight Crime Committee, Kwai Tsing District Council and the Hongkong Post to run an "Anti-Crime Postcard Design Competition" to remind primary and secondary school students within the district of the harms of drug abuse. The contest drew over 4,000 entries from over 30 schools, including vocational training institutes and special schools, which joined the contest for the first time.

The winning entry by Lai Wai-lam from the Shun Tak Fraternal Association Lee Shau Kee College has been printed on a postcard to be distributed in Kwai Tsing District. Copies of the postcard will also be sent to various organisations overseas by post to spread Hong Kong's anti-crime messages through philately.

The contest's prize presentation was held at Metroplaza on November 13, with Mr Dan Choi, Assistant Postmaster General (Business Development) of the Hongkong Post, Kwai Tsing District Commander Ip Lau-chuen, and other honourable guests officiating.

Many members of the Kwai Tsing District Fight Crime Committee were present to show their support for Kwai Tsing District's anti-crime initiatives, and so were around 300 school principals, teachers and students from the district, who greatly appreciated the winners' entries.
